This policy explains what personal information Pedro Camacho ("we") collects through pedrocamachographics.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Start a project form: name, email address, phone number, business name, type of business, current website, services you need, project details, timeline, preferred language, how you heard about us. We also record your IP address and browser type with the submission, to help prevent spam.
- Comments: your name, email address, website (optional), comment, IP address and browser type.
Information collected automatically
- Like every website, our server records basic technical information when a page loads: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This keeps the site running and secure.
- Account activity for people who manage this site (logins and changes, with IP address), kept 90 days.
- Addresses that return "page not found", with the referring page and browser type (no IP address), so we can fix broken links. We keep the latest 1,000.
- Usage information (pages visited, device and approximate location) through Google Tag Manager.
We do not collect sensitive information such as health, financial account or government ID details through this site. Please don't include it in a message.
How we use it
- To reply to you, prepare quotes, and provide the services you ask for.
- To run, secure and fix the website.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve them.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records for clients.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Cookies
| Cookie | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
comment_author_* | Remembers your name and email for the next comment, if you ask it to. | 1 year |
wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* | Keeps signed-in users signed in. Only set for people who log in to manage the site. | Session or 14 days |
_ga, _ga_* … | Set by Google Tag Manager to measure visits. | Up to 2 years |
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: we don't track visitors across sites, so there is nothing for these signals to turn off. We don't otherwise respond to "Do Not Track", because there is no common standard for it.
Who we share it with
- Hosting: a private server we manage, which stores the website and its data.
- Google Tag Manager: Measures how the site is used (only after you accept cookies, where our cookie banner asks).
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
These providers may only use your information to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
- Start a project submissions are kept while we work with you and for our business records, then deleted when no longer needed. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
- Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
- We keep encrypted backups of the site so we can restore it after a problem. Old backups are deleted on a rolling basis.
How we protect it
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only the people who need it can see your information. Site administrators can sign in with two-factor authentication. No website can be perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps and will tell you if a breach affects your information, as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within 45 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we won't treat you differently for asking.
California residents
Under California law (including the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) you have the right to know what we collect and why, to delete or correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive information. We don't sell or share personal information and don't collect sensitive information, so there is nothing to opt out of. You can use an authorized agent to make a request. We don't share personal information with others for their direct marketing (California "Shine the Light" law).
Children
This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
