Pedro Camacho wants everyone to be able to use pedrocamachographics.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard referenced by most accessibility laws and courts.
What we've done
- Text and background colors meet WCAG AA contrast.
- Every page has one main heading, and headings follow in order, so screen reader users can move around by heading.
- Images have text alternatives, or are marked as decorative when they add nothing.
- Every link and button has a clear name.
- Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked, and errors are explained.
- The site, including the menu on phones, can be used with a keyboard alone.
- A clear outline shows which link or button has keyboard focus.
- Animations turn off for visitors whose device asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
We're not aware of any parts of the site that don't meet our standard. If you find one, please tell us.
